I’ve had the pleasure of showing work for the South show at Kibbee Gallery 3 times now! The South closing reception is Saturday, July 29, 7-10 PM. Check out this 4th annual Grand Salon group show featuring some of the best artist in the South (including southern England). Over 70 artists and over 170 pieces of art. This is a fun, large group show of medium to small works.

Come see my new paintings pictured above (the green, blue, purple, and gold pieces on the sides of the black and white photograph) in person from my Limpidity series that I have in the works. Stay tuned for some new works!!

Destroy - Rebuild

The Mammal Gallery is my home away from home. The guys that run it are awesome and I am taking part of a show running through July in this lovely space!

Destroy - Rebuild is a three phase exhibition.

Phase 1: Artwork destroyed. I gave my very first collage up for this phase.

Phase 2: Gallery is open for everyone to come build from the destroyed pieces. Here are some sneak peeks of what I worked on today:

Phase 2 will go until July 1st if you want to get involved!

Phase 3: An entirely new show consisting of the collective work of all of those who participate! It is happening Friday, July 7th starting at 7 PM.

EDIT: My Phase 3 contribution:

I can’t wait to see where this show ends up! So far, it has been a great creative experience that gave me the opportunity to create outside my normal studio setting and with other artists.

Life Lines and Nasty Women Athens

I’ll be showing some artwork from my new Limpidity series in Life Lines at The Arts Exchange on Saturday, June 17th! Art, music, and party starts at 8 pm. Below is a preview of what I will be showing and what I have been working on lately!

a: a line (such as a rope) used for saving or preserving life: such as
b : a line along the outer edge of the deck of a boat or ship
c : a line used to keep contact with a person (such as a diver or astronaut) in a dangerous or potentially dangerous situation
: something regarded as indispensable for the maintaining or protection of life

I am also super stoked to be showing work in Nasty Women Athens exhibition and fundraiser for Feminist Women’s Health Center - Atlanta at Trio Contemporary Art Gallery. I will be donating two of my favorite collages to this awesome cause.

The Nasty Women Project “is a group exhibition that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights, individual rights, and abortion rights. It also serves as a fundraiser to support organizations defending these rights and to be a platform for organization. Started by Roxanne Jackson and Jessamyn Fiore with the first Nasty Women exhibition in NYC in January 2017, the massive response has taken this call to arms into building an ever-expanding network of Nasty Women Artists & Art Organizers that has culminated in multiple exhibitions world-wide!”

The Feminist Women’s Health Center has “two goals: to provide outstanding, sensitive, and supportive reproductive health care services AND to empower our community through educational initiatives while advocating for reproductive justice and reproductive rights in our Community Education & Advocacy.”

I hope to see y’all at these two awesome exhibitions!
